Ministry prepares science policy draft



KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokhrel today said that the ministry has prepared the draft for science policy.

He said this while inaugurating the three-day conference on Astronomy and Space Science in the capital today.

He informed that the draft would be tabled in the next meeting of the cabinet. Minister Pokhrel emphasized on bringing into operation separate technical and science labs to attract new generation towards science and technology.

A total of 120 students of science faculty from various 40 colleges of all seven provinces have been participating in the three-day conference.
