Video of thrashing a woman goes viral



HARYANA: Authorities of Haryana have suspended five police personnel after a year-old video went viral showing Haryana police personnel thrashing a woman with a belt.

The video went viral on social media that showed police personnel of the Faridabad Police interrogating and harassing a woman.


Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged for wrongful confinement, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman. Likewise, a case has also been registered against them in Faridabad’s Adarsh Nagar Police Station.

The incident is said to have been taken in October 2018.
