Nepali Embassy in Beijing welcomes Prez Bhandari

BEIJING: President Bidya Devi Bhandari attended a welcome event hosted by Nepali Embassy in China.

On the occasion, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, who has accompanied President Bhandari on her maiden state visit to China, said the people-to-people relations between Nepal and China have continued for years, and now it has expanded to the level of politics, entrepreneurship and finance.

He also appreciated China’s support in the development of Nepal and in the post-quake reconstructions in April 2015.

Minister Gyawali, extending his appreciation over China’s endorsement for Nepal’s sovereignty, indivisibleness and national independence, reaffirmed Nepal’s firm stance on One-China policy.

He also expressed his happiness over the incredible achievements made by China in the reform and opening up in the past 40 years.

Similarly, Nepali Ambassador to China Leelamani Paudyal shared that the Nepali embassy in Beijing was undertaking exemplary works aimed at promoting social, economic and tourism of Nepal in China.

Present at the event were Chief Minister of Province No 3 Dor Mani Poudel, members of the Federal Parliament, high-ranking government officials and representatives from the private sector.
