BIRGUNJ: Police on Wednesday took under control 10 government-owned vehicles used against the election code of the conduct.
The code of conduct is in effect for the November 30 by-elections.
Police seized scooters and motorcycles with government-registered number plates. They were used in the election assembly organized at Mahuban of Safuwa Prasauni rural municipality-5 by the Nepali Congress party.
The impounded vehicles have been kept at the Mahuban police post, Police Inspector Ram Kumar Mahat of Armed Police Base Camp, Bageswari said.
