ANTWU supports govt’s ban on Pathao, Tootle



KATHMANDU: All Nepal Transport Workers Union (ANTWU) has supported the government’s recent ban on Pathao, Tootle and Sarara and private vehicles operating like public vehicles.

Talking to Khabarhub, Durga Shrestha, chairman of Nepal Taxi Workers Union, Kathmandu the government’s move to put a ban on Pathao, Tootle and Sarara operating illegally in the capital is absolutely justifiable.

“The government’s recent move to ban the Pathao, Tootle and Sarara is exemplary. They were operating illegally. They have been banned now. All have to abide by the rule of law,” said Shrestha.

On November 19, 2019, the Department of Transport Management had issued a notice putting a ban Pathao, Tootle and Sarara illegally operating in the Kathmandu Valley.
