SAG 2019 volleyball match: Nepal taking on Bangladesh today

KATHMANDU: A volleyball tournament under the South Asian Game (SAG) is being held from Wednesday.

Volleyball tournaments under both male and female category are being held today.

Nepali teams under both male and female category are taking on Bangladeshi teams in their group stage match.

Nepali women team is taking on Bangladeshi women team at 3 pm.

Nepali women team is placed in group ‘A’ alongside India and Bangladesh. India is a very strong team while Bangladesh is relatively weaker than Nepal.

Similarly, Nepal’s male volleyball team is taking on Bangladesh team at 7 pm.

Male volley team of India is also equally strong. Earlier, Nepali team had faced a defeat at the hands of India in all pre-SAG practice matches held in India.

Hence, Nepal is under pressure to win Bangladesh in today’s match to enter the knock-out stage.
