PM Oli removed from ventilator as his health condition improves



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli, who underwent successful surgery for appendicitis on Tuesday, is recuperating gradually.

Prime Minister Oli who is under observation of doctors at the Intensive Care Unit has been removed from ventilator on Wednesday morning, Surya Thapa, press adviser to the Prime Minister, told Khabarhub.

A team of doctors comprising Prof Dr. Arun Sayami, Prof Dr. Ramesh Singh Bhandari and Dr. Dibya Singh are attending to the Prime Minister.

He was hospitalized at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Tuesday after he complained of stomach pain.

He was diagnosed for appendicitis and underwent surgery for it according to the doctors’ advice.
