Six gamblers arrested along with Rs 1.58 million

POKHARA: The District Police Office, Kaski has arrested nine gamblers along with Rs 1.58 million in stake.

Police apprehended them and confiscated stacks of cards and the cash amount from Hotel Crystal Palace at Pahari Marga, Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City-6.

Police had reached the hotel operated by Chhabi Poudel on a tip-off that gambling was taking place there, Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar KC said. Police have forwarded a legal process against the gamblers.
