Partnership with local levels for dev: Minister Lamsal



SYANGJA: Minister for Industry, Forest, Tourism and Environment of the Gandaki State government Bikas Lamsal has expressed readiness to collaborate with local levels for the development works.

Minister Lamsal, who arrived here on Thursday to offer worship to Chhaya Chhetra Mandir at Chhangchhangdi, a religious tourism site based in Bhirkot rural municipality-4, Syangja, said the Gandaki state was hotspot from religious and tourism point of view.

The natural heritage of the state would be best utilized to attain prosperity, he added. Minister Lamsal further noted the state government was effortful to generate employment within the country by developing necessary infrastructures.

He clarified the state government was conducting a campaign to make publicity of tourism spots to contribute to the success of Nepal Visit Year 2020. Also on the occasion, Bhirkot municipality mayor Chhayaram Khanal said they have prepared a detailed project report (DPR) by identifying religious and touristic areas within Bhirkot.
