Private aircraft with six onboard crashes in India

NEW DELHI: A private trainer aircraft has crashed at the Aligarh Dhanipur airstrip in India during landing.

The private jet VT-AVV, owned by Air Charter Services Pvt Ltd, crashed during a landing attempt in Aligarh on Tuesday morning, Indin media reported.

Six people were traveling onboard the private jet. All have been declared safe after the accident.

The aircraft was in Aligarh for maintenance work when its wheels got tangled in electric wires during landing and it crashed. All six passengers evacuated before the plane caught fire.
