Nepal Airlines flight closure hit passengers

RARA: Passengers have been left in lurch after a twin otter aircraft of Nepal Airlines has shut its flight service from Nepalgunj to Mugu without any prior information since mid-April this year.

It may be noted that the Nepal Airlines has been operating two flights a week to Rara from Nepalgunj after its successful test operation at Rara Airport of Mugu on June 2007.

The Airlines has closed the air services without any information since 9 May. With the closure of Nepalgunj-Rara flight service, the passengers have come across a tough time to travel. The Airlines which has been operating two flights a week to other districts from Nepalgunj has not taken off any flights to Rara for the past four months.

The general public also used to travel via Nepal Airlines for its cheaper price in comparison to other private air service provider.
