MELAMCHI: The road leading to Charikot of Dolakha from Khadichaur of Sindhupalchowk is to be closed for three days for renovation and maintenance.
The under-construction road turned muddy due to heavy rain and thereby made transportation difficult. As a result, the District Coordination Committee meeting on Friday decided to close the road. A meeting chaired by DCC Chief Krishna Gopal Tamang led the meeting decided to shut the road starting today evening until July 29 evening.
The road had to be closed for traffic for at least three days in order to normalize the road for regular traffic, said Urban Division Office Chief Dharmendra Kumar Jha.
