Taliban kill 14 Afghan army



KABUL: A roadside bombing killed 10 Afghan soldiers in Afghanistan’s Farah province, media reports have said.

Likewise, Taliban attacks on security checkpoints in Afghanistan’s northern Sari Pul province killed four policemen, wounding 22 others, according to local officials.

The Afghan army were returning to base after receiving their salaries in western Farah province. They were travelling in a vehicle when the explosion took place near Bala Buluk.

Officials said the blast was ‘intense’. (Agencies)
