Govt projects economy to grow by 7 pc next fiscal

KATHMANDU: The government has projected that the economy will grow by 7 percent in the next fiscal year.

While presenting the economic survey for the current fiscal year at Parliament on Monday, Minister for Finance Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada said that the ambitious growth rate will be achieved ‘as financial, social and development indexes are positive’.

Minister Khatiwada said that per capita income has increased ‘owing to increased financial activities’. He added that gross domestic product has also increased.
