Govt urges Biplav outfit to come for talks

KATHMANDU: The government has urged Bilav outfit to come for talks. Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa called the armed outfit, which is now underground, to come for talks with the government.

Answering the questions raised by lawmakers in the parliament on Monday, Minister Thapa said that  the government is rendering efforts to bring them into mainstream politics through peaceful means.

Thapa called the armed outfit to come for talks at a time when the Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand has announced a nationwide banda today.

Biplav outfit has called banda after Nepal Police killed one of its cadres in Bhojpur few days ago.
