BJP worker shot dead in West Bengal



NEW DELHI: A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cadre was shot dead in North 24 Parganas of West Bengal state of India, Indian media reports said.

Unidentified assailants shot dead Chandan Shaw, 24, while he was driving a two-wheeler.

Reports have said post-poll violence has continued in several parts of West Bengal.

Brutal incidents have also been reported from Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri and other areas of the state, police said. (Agencies)
