900,000 youths unemployed in Nepal: CBS

KATHMANDU: As many as 900,000 youths are unemployed in Nepal, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).

According to the third manpower survey unveiled by CBS on Friday, 900,000 out of 8 million manpower available are unemployed, a report in Gorakhapatra daily said.

The data was based on the research conducted from June 15, 2017 to May 15, 2018. The data includes people from 15 years of age to  those capable of working. The reach had been conducted in 18,000 households.
