Nepal, UAE agree to take Nepali workers for zero investment

KATHMANDU: Nepal and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reached a new gentleman agreement to take Nepali workers.

According to the agreement the employment companies in UAE will have to bear all the expenses incurred while taking Nepali workers, a report in Gorakhapatra daily said.

A joint technical team from both the countries took a decision to this end following a meeting held recently.

The technical team has agreed to scrap the 12-year-old deal reached between the two countries to in a new deal, said Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security
