Former Secretary Shrestha passes away



KATHMANDU: Former secretary Shanta Bahadur Shrestha passed away this morning. He was in the early 60s.

According to family sources, Shrestha passed away at around 5:30 am today while undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. He was diagnosed with pneumonia.

He was admitted to the hospital yesterday.

Born in Ramkot of Palpa district, Shrestha had joined the civil service as a section officer in the early 1990s.
