KATHMANDU: The government has said it would complete the Chabahil-Jorpati-Sankhu road repairing project by June 2020.
According to Shiva Hari Sapkota, Deputy Director General at the Department of Roads (DoR), they have instructed the concerned contractors to complete the repair work of the road June next year.
Senior Nepal Communist Party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Physical Infrastructure Minister Basanta Kumar Nembang, and other highly-placed government officials had inspected the road early this month and had assured the locals of completing the project at the earliest.
