Ministers reach hospital to take stock of PM’s heath condition

KATHMANDU: Ministers have reached the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Tuesday afternoon to take stock of the health condition of Prime Minister KP Oli recovering after appendicitis surgery.

Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Girirajmani Pokharel and Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal and Chief Secretary Lokdarshan Regmi have reached Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center at TUTH premises.

But, they have not been allowed to meet the prime minister as he is at high risk of catching up an infection due to kidney-related ailments.

Earlier, a team of doctors led by Dr Ramesh Singh Bhandari conducted surgery for appendicitis on PM Oli.
