PM Oli holds talks with Bangladeshi PM

BAKU: Prime Minister and Leader of the Nepali delegation to the 18th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) KP Sharma Oli held bilateral meetings at the sidelines of the Summit here this afternoon.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli held bilateral talks with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina at the bilateral room in the premises of the Baku Congress Centre.

Various aspects of the bilateral relations and mutual interest including on energy cooperation, better use of transit support provided by Bangladesh to Nepal and speeding up other commercial activities between the two countries were discussed, according to Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.

The two leaders also discussed the stalled SAARC process and on what could be done together by Nepal and Bangladesh to get it back on track.

Also today at the Baku Congress Center, Prime Minister Oli met with President of Pakistan Arif Alvi.
