KATHMANDU: The Nepali National Football Team faced 1-0 defeat against Malaysian Club Johor Darul Takzim FC in a friendly match in Malaysia on Monday evening.

Argentine Nicholas Alberto scored the lone goal for the Malaysian team in the third minute of the match.

Nepali team was captained by Sujal Shrestha. Shrestha was assigned to the role of captainship, since Biraj Maharjan, captain of the Nepali National Football Team, and Vice-captain Kiran Chemjong are out of the team.
