NC leader Poudel stresses on party unity

CHITWAN: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Ram Chandra Poudel has said it is high time that the party performed in such a way that it should win the peoples’ hearts.

Poudel said the party should start working to win the peoples’ confidence as they have started losing confidence in the incumbent government.

“Now that the NC should be prepared as the incumbent government’s alternative,” Poudel said while speaking to journalists in Chitwan today.

He suggested party leaders to move ahead in a unified manner while emphasizing the need of holding the NC general convention on time.

Poudel also hoped that a fair investigation would take place in the case surrounding television presenter Rabi Lamichhane and others.
