Dahal to chair NCP’s secretariat meeting today



KATHMANDU: Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal is chairing the party’s secretariat meeting that has begun at the NCP head office in Dhunbarahi today. This is the first time that Dahal is chairing the secretariat meeting 15 months after becoming the NCP’s co-chairman.

Thursday’s secretariat meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar had decided to entrust Dahal to convene and chair the party meeting as well as finalize the remaining tasks of unification in the absence of party chairman KP Oli.

The secretariat meeting is being convened at the NCP central office in Dhumbarahi. The meeting is likely to discuss the remaining tasks of organizational unification as well as other issues.
