State Public Service Commission Bill endorsed



POKHARA: Gandaki State Assembly has enacted a bill on formation of State Public Service Commission (PSC), its duties and responsibilities and work procedures.

A meeting of the Gandaki State Assembly today endorsed the bill presented by Internal Affairs and Law Minister Hari Bahadur Chuman.

Taking part in the deliberation on the bill, members of the state assembly said it was important to have the setup of State PSC for recruitment of human resource required for the operation of state government.

They said that the State PSC would establish its role by internalizing the norms and values of the central PSC.

State Assembly members Madhumaya Adhikari Gurung, Dobate Biswokarma and Pushpa KC Bhandari had taken part in the deliberation on the bill.
