Former Minister Chaturbhuj Singh passes away



SAPTARI: Former Minister Chaturbhuj Prasad Singh has passed away on Friday morning. High blood pressure-ridden Singh died at 6 am today at his own residence in Saptari. He was 87.

Singh had served as Minister for Information and Communications, Minister for Physical Planning, Transport, Industry and Commerce from time to time during the period 2019 BS to 2046 BS.

His funeral rites is being performed as per Hindu tradition today itself, said his son Suman Prasad Singh.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
