Pulsar Sports Award on July 2



KATHMANDU: The 16th edition of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) Pulsar Sports Award has been scheduled for July 2, the NSJF has said.

The NSJF, which has been honoring players in various categories, said it would add another category called Asian Sports Journalist Award this year. With this, awards will be given on 10 categories.

Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu on Sunday, the NSJF also signed a sponsorship agreement with Hansraj Hulaschand and Company to hold the event.

Besides the newly added Asian Sports Journalist Award, the categories include Young Player, People’s Choice, Best Male, Best Female, Lifetime Achievement Award, Best Coach, Special Award, Para Athlete, and Team of the Year.

While the winners of Best Female, Best Male, Best Coach, and People’s Choice categories will get a Pulsar motorbike each, winners of other categories will walk away with Rs 50,000 each, according to NSJF.
