Europeans cast votes with EU future in balance



BRUSSELS: Europeans vote in an election which is expected to bolster the nationalist fringe in the European Parliament.

This is also expected to put a brake on collective action in economic and foreign policy.

The polls opened at 0400 GMT in the east of the bloc. It will close 2100 GMT in Italy.

Seven EU states have already voted while 21 others voting on Sunday. (Agencies)
