Foreign investment in Nepal reaches Rs 169.23 bln

KATHMANDU: The total amount of foreign investment in Nepal has reached Rs 169.23 billion so far, according to Naya Patrika daily.

According to the statistics maintained by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the national bank of Nepal, of the total foreign investment, 66.1 percent is reserved capital, 30 percent is paid capital while 3.7 percent is loan.

An NRB’s  report on foreign investment has said that 70 of the total foreign investment is in service sector while 30 percent is in productive sector.
