New Delhi police ‘avert terror strike’



NEW DELHI: Police prevented a major terror strike in New Delhi and arrested three men linked to an Islamic State terror group.

Police have also recovered Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) from them, according to DCP Pramod Kushwaha of Delhi Police Special Cell.

According to him, a terror strike was averted as three persons have been arrested with IED.

The three men carrying explosive materials used to devise bombs and IED are said to have been ‘influenced’ by the Islamic State. (Agencies)
