Students thrash Tri-Chandra College Chief



KATHMANDU: Students riled by an increase in tuition fees on Monday manhandled Chief of the Ghantaghar-based Tri-Chandra College.

According to police, a gang of students associated with the ruling Nepal Communist Party and main opposition Nepali Congress thrashed Campus Chief Pradeep Kumar Neupane.

The students have agitated demanding the college administration roll back the fees hiked for science faculty.

Police rescued Neupane and took him to Bir Hospital for treatment.

SSP Uttam Subedi at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu told Khabarhub that they have arrested two students involved in the attack.
