Deuba pledges to address genuine demands of people



BALEWA: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has pledged his party’s support to the Baglung West’s folks to divide Baglung into two districts- Baglung East and Baglung West.

At an election campaign organized by NC for the November 30’s by-election at Nishi Khola of Baglung district on Sunday, leader Deuba argued that the structure should be built as per the demand of the public and NC will stand by the side of the Baglung West’s folks for a separate district.

The local leaders from the western part of Baglung district for long have been voicing that the western part of Baglung is made a separate district.

Slamming the incumbent government for not taking up ‘desired’ initiatives on the nationalistic movement, the former Prime Minister underscored the need for the government to resolve the border issue with India through diplomatic means.
