Minister Gurung pledges to response disability issues



KATHMANDU :Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Parbat Gurung has pledged to address the issues concerning the persons living with disabilities through the enactment of a disabled-friendly law.

Addressing a programme organised by the National Federation of Disabled Nepal here Sunday to congratulate the Minister who assumed office few days back vowed to work hand in hand with the Federation to promote the rights of persons with disabilities.

Federation President Mitra Lal Sharma expressed his concern that despite having Disabilities Right Act, 2074 BS, they were still toiling for bringing its regulations.
