Labor Ministry’s call center to remain open during Tihar



KATHMANDU: The call center operated by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security will remain open during public holidays in the Tihar festival.

Issuing a notice today, the Ministry said the center would have a regular operation from 10 am to 5 pm on October 27 to 29.

It operates from 7 am to 9 pm on normal days. The call center deals with complaints from the people involved in the labor and employment sector.

Similarly, the Foreign Employment Board has notified that the free transport of bodies of those Nepalis migrant workers who died in a foreign land to their respective place continues during public holidays (October 26-30) during Tihar.
