Minor drowns in boiling gruel meant for cattle

KATHMANDU: A minor drowned into a pot of boiling gruel meant for cattle in Maijogmai Rural Municipality-5 Soyang.

The deceased is identified as two-year-old Madit Raut, son of Prem Bahadur Raut of Soyang.

Critically injured minor, who was rushed to the hospital, died while undergoing treatment.

Madit Raut had been referred to Max Hospital in Biratnagar after his treatment was not possible in Ilam District Hospital, said District Police Office, Ilam.
