Unification on the basis of equality, says RJP leader Mahato

JANAKPUR: Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) leader Rajendra Mahato has hinted at the possibility of unification between RJP and Samajbadi Party on the basis of equality.

Mahato, however, said the Samajbadi Party first needs to pull out its support to the incumbent government.

Speaking at a press meet in Janakpur today, Mahato emphasized on party unification to form an alternative force in the country.

Mahato said that six Madhesh-centric parties have entered the unification process to honor the sentiments of the people.

“We are in regular discussions concerning the party unification with the Samajbadi Party. However, the party needs to pull out its support to the government,” he said.
