Madhuri Dixit chosen as Maharashtra poll ‘goodwill ambassador’



MUMBAI: The Chief Electoral Office in Maharashtra has chosen Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit as “goodwill ambassador” to create awareness about the importance of voting.

Maharastra is holding its State Assembly polls on October 21. The results will be announced on October 24, Indian media reports have said.

Madhuri will be featured in a video ‘Let’s Vote” where she will be speaking about the role of voters and the democratic process. (Agencies)
