Obstruction to development unacceptable, says Minister Magar

KANCHANPUR: Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation Bina Magar has said that any obstacle to development works was unacceptable.

While inaugurating the fourth city assembly of Belauri Municipality on Tuesday, Minister Magar suggested the opposition to back development work that protesting for no reasons.

“Opposition leaders and cadres have been threatening officials here. I urge them to stop such activities,” she said, “Obstacles to the development of Kanchanpur-1 is unaccepted.”

Minister Magar informed that works of opening customs office in Kanchanpur, development of Banda Lake, preservation of cultural sites and road expansion among other works have gained momentum.

On the occasion, Minister Magar shared that she has planned a clean, beautiful and modern Belauri by developing the necessary infrastructure and ending all sorts of discrimination.

During the assembly, Mayor Potilal Chaudhary presented a fiscal budget of Rs 685 million.
