Gold hits record high Rs 65,500 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has hit the record high on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold And Silver Dealears Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of Hallmark gold is traded for Rs 65,500 per tola today.

This is the highest price of the yellow precious metal ever. The Hallmark gold, which was traded for Rs 63,000 on Wednesday, reached Rs 64,000 on Thursday. Then the price went up by Rs 1,000 per total to hit Rs 65,000 on Friday and remained the same until Monday.

The price of Hallmark gold has reached Rs 65, 500 per total today. With the price hike in the yellow metal, people have thronged gold shops in the capital to sell their old gold ornaments.
