12 videos selected for Public Choice Award (with videos)



KATHMANDU: We Will Rise Foundation (WWRF)  has selected 12 videos for the ‘Public Choice Award’ category. WWRF has organized the video contest to promote village tourism. The videos should contain the theme of “My Village, My Place (Mero Gaun, Mero Thau)”.

The video receiving most likes, shares and comments will get the ‘Mero Gaun Mero Thau Public Choice Award’. The award caries a purse of Rs 100,000.

Similarly, the winner of Public Choice Award and the winner of overall videos will also get the scholarship from Nepal Film Academy worth Rs 200,000.

Similarly, the foundation has also selected nominees for different categories like Best Script Writer, Best Video Maker Of the Year, A Future Star and so on.

“The best videos will be awarded on July 1 amid a special program”, Nirmal Shrestha, founder director of the Foundation, told Khabarhub.

The foundation has organized the event in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board.
