2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Italy

KATHMANDU: The 2026 Winter Olympics and Para Olympics are set to be held in Italy. The Olympics will take place in Italy’s biggest cities – Milan and Cortina. The Olympic will be held on February 6 to 22 in 2026 while Winter Olympic will take place on March 6 to 15.

Cortina has already hosted an edition of Winter Olympic. It was organized in 1956.

Milan and Cortina had received 47 votes out of 82 votes. International Olympic Committee (IOC) Chief Thomas Bach congratulated Milan and Cortina for getting the responsibility to host both Olympic and Paralympic games.
