Bomb found in Jhapa; suspicious objects in Pyuthan



KATHMANDU: A nationwide banda called by Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav has partially affected the country.

Bombs and suspicious objects have been found, triggering fear among the normal people. A bomb was found on the Kankai Bridge in Jhapa district this morning. Nepal Army has defused the bomb.

Meanwhile, a suspicious object has been found at Jumri Bus Park in Pyuthan Municipality. According to police an object resembling a grenade was found in front of Hotel Diamond. The object is wrapped in a paper. A watch has also been kept along with the suspicious object, said police.

The banda called by Bipalv has fully affected Pyuthan district. Markets, schools, colleges and factories have remained closed.
