Home Minister Thapa inspects Tatopani checkpoint

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa on Saturday inspected the dry port and the border bridge at Larcha in Tatopani of Sindhupalchowk along the Nepal-China border.

On the occasion, Home Minister Thapa directed the security officials to not allow any unintended incident including smuggling via the border entry point.

The infrastructural development works are taking place in a full swing as part of the preparation for the resumption of the checkpoint. The checkpoint has remained closed following the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake.
