Sakela observed with fanfare



KATHMANDU: Sakela, the festival of Kirant Community (Rai, Limbu, Yakkha, Sunuwar), is being observed in different places of the country with fanfare on Saturday.

People from Kirant Community gathered at Tundikhel in the Capital City and celebrated the festival with jubilance.

Peoples from various walk of Kirant community clad in traditional attire and observed the festival by playing different musical instruments exchanging greetings with each other.
