Community school attracts students with English medium

BARDIBAS: Both the sons of Baburam Shrestha, Bardibas-3, Gauri Danda used to study at a private school. They chose private school over government ones concluding that the latter could not impart quality education on the children.

But this year, Baburam enrolled his sons at Janata Secondary School, a community school. Other neighbors have also followed suit. “I chose community school for the education of my sons for their bright future,” said Baburam. The school has started teaching in English medium. Quality education has improved in Janata Secondary School.

Over 150 students from private schools have joined this school. This school has been popular at a time when the quality education in most of the community school is deteriorating.
