Govt. effortful to bring Chand outfit to mainstream politics: Home Minister

BIRATNAGAR: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa on Thursday said that the government was effortful to bring the Netra Bikram Chand-led outfit to mainstream politics.

Addressing a seminar on security of State 1, Minister Thapa said that government has also asked other disgruntled parties to come to the talks table to settle their issues.

The government banned the group led by Chand for its criminal activities and for terrorizing the general people, he clarified.

“The government is people’s government and it will sort out problem through dialogue,” he said.
