PM directs NRA to conclude reconstruction on time



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday directed the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) to conclude the post-earthquake reconstruction within the timeframe.

The Prime Minister was optimistic that the remaining works will be concluded within coming 20 months while addressing a ceremony to mark the day Nepal was hit by 7.6-magnitude earthquake four years ago.

Saying that Nepal is at a high risk of earthquake, the prime minister stated that the government was doing needful for constructing earthquake-resistant houses.

He said that the damaged heritages will be reconstructed in more attractive and modern ways keeping the historical and cultural looks intact.
