House panel concludes deliberations on Civil Service Bill

KATHMANDU: The State Affairs and Good Governance committee has forged a consensus that the vacant post caused by pool reservation or deputation could not be fulfilled as vacant posts.

The committee reached a conclusion in course of discussions on the bill designed to constitute federal civil servants, operation and condition of the services.

Lawmakers in the meeting opined to continue the cluster for specialized experts in civil service.

Most of the lawmakers have suggested the committee for appointing classless employees such as office assistants and drivers on a permanent basis.
