CIAA files graft case against 38 govt employees



KATHMANDU: A graft case has been filed against 38 persons including the then Chief of Transport Management Office, Ekantakuna Under Secretary Ananda Keshari Pokharel.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed the case at the Special Court against them for issuing licenses to 1,284 applicants who had failed trail.

The anti-graft body has accused them of damaging the archive of the office and also misusing the revenue. Punishment as per the anti-corruption act has been sought against them.
